You can find Meadowlark Farm lamb at our booth at the Boise Farmers Market, almost every Saturday from the first of April to the end of October and occasionally at the Winter Market.  Please sign up for the weekly BFM newsletter which lists all the vendors and if they are there that week or not.

Although the Boise Farmers Market is the best place to pick up delicious lamb cuts (mostly because you don’t want to miss all the other great produce and meats there) you don’t need to wait for the market to order lamb.  We are happy to take orders by email and will make arrangements for delivery.


Lamb cuts:

  • Rack of lamb

  • Lamb Chops

  • Boneless Leg of lamb (whole and half)

  • Lamb kabobs (boneless cubes of meat cut from the leg)

  • Rear lamb shanks

  • Ground lamb

  • Osso bucco (2” thick cross-cut front lamb shanks)

  • Neck slices

Fall and winter cuts --- generally available after September 1

  • Lamb stew meat  (boneless cubes of meat cut from the shoulder)

  • Bone-in Leg of lamb (whole and half)

  • Lamb shoulder (whole, bone-in)

Other special cuts are possible --- please ask.

Lamb sausage

  • Merguez (Moroccan-style sausage.  Spicy but not too hot.  Lamb only, fresh sausage.  This Merguez has the stamp of approval from a Boise couple who retired to the Gem State after a tour of duty at the American embassy in Morocco.  They helped develop the recipe!)

  • Lamb apple sausage (slightly sweet because of the apple juice and dehydrated apples).  Not available in 2021
